HomeElectronic lab's portal

Good day

Is electronic hard ? No, we just are also made of electric signals, that's how life can exchange information with materials, we are full of sensors as most of the electronic equipment we design.

It's not difficult once we made the right steps into it so let's go …

We'll design and manufacture a demo board with Kicad 6.

Parts of it are schematics, PCB layout, component selection and manufacturing, testing.

First let's pick our idea: this will be a Lab's test bench board which we will use to supply other equipment, protect them, let's summarize this part:

  • Board supply
    • Any DC between 7 … 20V
    • Reverse voltage protection
    • Over current protection
  • Outputs
    • 3 x 3.3V 1A shared
    • 3 x 5V 1A shared
    • 1 x 12V 1A

Extension modules whill be attached to it:

A MCU/CPU module

  • On-board clocks
    • 4 MHz crystal oscillator
    • 32768 Hz crystal oscillator for RTC

A display, a panel, panel, IO extensions

  • LCD monitor
  • 2 x 8 bits LED
  • 8 amplified MOSFET protected output
  • Price
    • Budget board
